Aches & Other Poems

by Liu Ying

Aches

The autumn wind dyes the maple leaves red,
And broken lovers’ll meet no more in the end.
The wisdom tooth shall never ache my heart,
But the remaining love will eventually die out.

Deeply Lost

Deeply lost in the other side of the world,
My longing for you dyes white clouds red.
No matter how many great efforts I make,
Darkness’ll conquer n’ bring me heartbreak.

Meeting Again

Meeting again accidentally that gloomy day,
Turned out to be the most glorious surprise.
Forever love may be a thousand miles away,
Where the sun in our future would never rise.
